KAWASAKI • H1R 500

KAWASAKI • H1R 500 SOLD

First Registration:
1971

KW (HP) ccm:
55(75)500 ccm

General Information:
With a dry weight of around 136 kg and 75 hp, the H1R was one of the most powerful motorbikes in its class at the beginning of the 1970s. The chassis lacked the necessary stability and combined with a consumption of 30 litres of fuel per 100 km, the H1R was not able to establish itself. Only a few examples were built. The Giger Kawa was mainly driven by Hansruedi Brüngger in 1971. In the following years, the machine fell into oblivion until it was restored.
