R 60 was produced until 1960 and was replaced by R 60/2 which had improved technical features. It was one of the models that characterized BMW the most. Additionally it was unthinkable to go one a world wide trip without such a model. Also its reliable and was exported by BMW world wide.
Our model, equipped with "Albert" mirrors, is an american version which is not prepared for using a sidecar.
